Since
1977
Samos has been serving Baltimore classic and modern Greek food since 1977! Nicholas Georgalas, owner and head-chef, opened Samos Restaurant in June of 1977. Located at 600 Oldham Street, it has become a landmark in Baltimore, winning many Best of Baltimore awards, as well as being highly regarded on Yelp, Google Business, TripAdvisor, and Zagat Guide.
Greek Island Grill Opens
After working with his father at Samos Restaurant for over 10 years, Michael Georgalas, and wife, Valentina, opened the fast casual spin-off, Samos Greek Island Grill, in the Canton Crossing Shopping Center in October of 2013. With the success of the Canton location, they saw there was a desire for fast, fresh, and healthy Greek food in the Baltimore area. Then, in 2016, they opened a second Greek Island Grill location in Locust Point, at the McHenry Row Shopping Center.
